odd piccolo problem
« on: 29 Nov 2009, 04:22 pm »
My pic has been built and up and running for 2 years now.I like to move stuff around in several different systems to keep thing fresh.Recently i moved it to my clarinet, cornet 2 bryston system and it gave me all sorts of problems.
I needed to push down or wiggle the on/level know to get it to work.
The other knob needs a wiggle to to get it to work sometimes and it now controls the volume level too!
I swapped out systems going back to my fisher 500 c piccolo, scout combo and it's fine now?
What could of gone on?
This all happened after i cut the knob shafts.I did it gently.

Sorry for yourt rubble, glad to know it's not just me aa

I've also had problems with those plastic selectors, even replaced one and still hav trouble.

The Piccolo's on the shelf until I have time to fit other ones, perhaps by Mountain or Alpha which will prolly require a different box.

Better selectors? I've just started building mine, and have yet to mount the selector switches. As long as I haven't done anything with them yet, and in your opinion, should I look for "something better", or forge on ahead?
