Hello ciro.

Hi.  I used to own the Tidal Piano.  With great recordings, it was the bomb.  So crystal clear, yet a tad a bright.  Not bright in an irritating way, but it was the opposite of dark sounding if you know what I mean.  However, on some recordings, it just fell apart.  It was ugly.  I listen to a lot of rock/pop and of course a lot of the recordings are not so good.  Because of this the Tidal's would frustrate the heck out of me.  So good and so awful.  It was just not a good fit.  The UNI 3s are more consistent and actually images better.  After trying or demoing about 4 amps in my system found one that really lights them up, the new Cary SA 200.2 solid state amp.  Recordings of all kinds have some life, space, and air.

Hello Ciro,

Welcome to the Audio Cilrcle.

Yes I can recomend you the Unifield III when you are moving to a smaller room.
VSA designed the Unifield-line special to fit in smaller situations.
I have them for 3 years now and compared them with a lot of speakers and electronics. I met Ole Vitus last year in Denver and this year in Munich. His products are very well matching the Unifield.
We drive them with KR Audio's Kronzilla and enjoy them every day.

Good luck,

Cor
