Great game 1, unless you are a Dodger fan, which I am...

The Phillies are an amazing example of having a good eye and patience at the plate and using those virtues to hit the ball, not simply draw walks.  They are like sharks with blood in the water when things go a little sideways for a pitcher.  Very impressive.

Thanks Uncle Charlie and the seven or eight relievers you brought in for the Eighth.  Not to be outshone is you Chase for yet another fine turn on the DP.  In all seriousness, the thing I hate about the Dodgers is with the exception of Manny, they all seem to go up there looking for walks or a soft liner to the opposite field.  They remind me of the early 90's Braves without the pitching.  P.S. What a job by Pedro today.

Phills up 2-1  :D

The big bats came out early and Lee went deep to a shutout.

A real nail biter!

Phills up 3-1

Great play on both sides of the field.

Game 5 should be a lot of fun.

I do believe that the fat lady is clearing her throat...

As much as I wanted to see a Dodgers v. Yankees series I really think the Phils and Yanks might provide an all-time classic battle to enjoy into the early hours of the morning here on the east coast.  I'm penciling the Yanks in, as I really hope the Angels don't get hot and win that series.  They bore me to death for some reason.
