It must be hard to be Werd, all these 7B reviews pouring and no mention of the 14B....  :P

Quick question for James:

I guess that when you build a stereo amp like the 14B you are probably adjusting the gain on both channels to be quite similar (especially important when doing the consumer version which does not have user accessible gain pots).

What happens when I order a pair of 7Bs? Would Bryston keep track of the fact that they are same customer order and adjust gain to match?

Nah. If I were James you would have either:

1) a built in DAC in the BDP-1
or
2) a BDA-1 Rev.2 with master clock input/output and the same on the BDP-1

Hi Nap,

Each amplifier channel is checked and if they are not within less than 1/4 dB from spec they are flagged.
