Jason, got my uDac yesterday, thanks. (previous poster, I think I saw on the Nuforce site that the next batch of uDacs will be in 12/14).
I've got to say, my first impression is outstanding. Using Senn IE7s, with an ASUS netbook as a source, the uDac sounds very clear. Very, very slight hum during mute, lowest I've heard from 5-6 amps I have tried with the sensitive IE7s. Strangely, the hum is most noticable at 50% volume. At 80%-100%, I don't hear it hardly at all.
I also tried out my Beyerdynamic DT900 (600 ohm) version, and the uDac actually did an acceptable job with those as well. Obviously, it won't drive 600 ohm to loud levels at all, but the max volume was still just a bit louder than I prefer, so it works out.
I've got an Audio-gd Compass due in this week, should be an interesting comparison.
But for a stealth amp to travel with my Netbook and IEMs, the uDac was exactly what I was looking for. Great work!
