FVC DAC

Hey guys,I'm in the market for a DAC and was wondering how does the Promitheus Dac compare to the Scott Nixon.I'm using a Rotel Cd player as my transport going into a TVC preamp.Any and all comments are greatly appretiated.Regards derockster

The Scott Nixon is bright soundng compared to the Promitheus DAC. That said, lately I tried a USB DAC against the Promitheus and I'm still shaking my head. Musicstreamer +. Just smoked it.
   I respect the Promitheus DAC but the Musicstreamer is a giant killer. Especially with the TVC and SET Amps IMO.
