Hey all, I've got a pair of Magnepan 2c's that were rebuilt by the factory. I modded the crossovers by installing Hovland caps, took out fuses and installed Edison Price post for bi-wire. I also built a set of nice braced stands for them. If anyone lives near Louisville KY wants them, your welcome to take. Would not be worth shipping. Frankly, they sound just ok. Good on acoustic jazz, but are sort of muffled and suffer from dynamic compression. Plus my crossover hack job looks pretty sloppy. But Hey....they're free! I'd hate to just throw them out, but I gotta get rid of some stuff.
Anyone owning new Maggies, like the 1.6 might want the stands. Again....not worth shipping.
