Wow, I'm surprised. Playing LB at 36 has to be tough, and you could see he was slowing down, but I still didn't see it coming. Bruschi seemed to personify everything great in sports- he was humble, a hard worker and active in charities. As corny as it sounds, watching him suit up and play at an incredibly high level after suffering a stroke was really inspirational to me.
