While it is easy to take shots at the Yankees and their substantial resources, here is a great example of what they do for others and the community:

Playing with kids who have a super rare disease in the middle of the night (if exposed to sunlight or UV light, they will die) and providing them with a memory that very well could be the highlight of their challenging and all too short lives is a great example of what athletes and organizations can and should be doing.
Way to go Yanks!

I had read this story yesterday. The Yankees really deserve a ton of credit for doing this. This is not a public relations deal. This is people caring about kids. Very touching story.
