Well, have had these for a bit so I guess its time for a review. It will not be a long one though as i do not have the silver tongue necessary
These are being used in my computer room(man-cave) as I do spend alot(way too much) of time there. The source was a modded Jolida JD-100 cd player. Power was provided by the Anthem Amp 2 SE Hybrid fed through a Valve Audio Black Widow Hybrid preamp.
Material ranged from ABBA to Metallica, Mozart to Al Dimeola. Two things stood out, how great the emerald/titan combo is and two, how lousy alot of cd's sound. The combo offers up a seamless, pinpoint, wall of sound that is simply marvelous! What was even more revealing was when i took the Titan out of the system. Except for the floor shaking less, the sound was still superb...tight, taut and talking to ya.
What's bad about all this is now I want a set of Sapphire's
