Reluctantly selling my EVS (Ric Schultz) modified Oppo 980 player. This unit has the latest mods including a new output circuit (still has full 2v output level), new power supply mods, and lots of other circuit mods, added voltage regulators, and case/transport damping. Also has the 2.5 pound aluminum plate bonded to the bottom of the case for extra mass and damping.
These mods took a pretty dreary, IMO, player and made it into something very, very nice. dynamoics and extension are greatly improved as are all aspects of audio and video playback.
Selling off one entire system so I can pay for my new speaks, but I'm sure the new owner will be quite happy with this player.
Price includes shipping in lower 48 and no PP fee to the buyer. I have the original box, manual, and remote as well.
