Headphone output on the P8

Headphone output on the P8

I just found out that the Nuforce preamplifier P8 has a headphone output but when I plugged in my headphones in my P8 I had sound from both my main speakers and the headphones. Strange... :roll: :roll:

I thought that the main speakers were automatically muted when using the headphones. How do I get sound in just my headphones?

Hi,
As a preamp, we decide not to cut out the output when headphone is inserted, because one can always  independently turn off the power amp.
