First let me say in my experience the Gronenberg power cables are very good cables in their own right. I have tried volex cryoed and element cable PC's, I left them in for a few months and then replaced them with the Gronenbergs and the Gronenbergs bested them all. I finally spent more $$ and purchased a pair of Black Sands Silver ref III Cryoed - they did sound better than the Gronenbergs the Black Sands allow more detail in the mids and highs and tightened up the bass. I also installed a cryoed porter port - Alan Porters electric outlet available through audiogon - well worth the $$ IMHO - added to the benefits of the Black Sand PC's nicely.
