I'm a Cornell fan, mostly from his Soundgarden days (and some solo stuff). Has anyone heard his new album? It was produced by Timbaland (not that there's anything wrong with that), and gone are the grungy guitars and visceral vocals. It's not bad, it's not good, it's just this weird pop (IMO).

This album seems to be getting ridiculed on a scale that is seldom seen. There was that recent "dust up" with Trent Reznor trashing the album, basically saying he was embarrassed for Cornell (or something to that effect). I haven't heard any of it myself.

I picked up Scream.. kind of liked it....it was different the the music I usually listen to...but I like to explore new stuff.

What are some of his others..that you consider better?
