Well, I got my 'seconds' pack today. . . 8 seams and 4 corners.
My room is a cluttered bedroom, so, any treatments really aren't going to have a great effect. I mainly got these b/c I plan on moving out soon and the price was right.
Regardless, I have only listened for 10-minutes. Previously, I had to sit about 2 feet away from the plane of the speakers w/ the speakers ~ 6 1/2 feet apart (pointing directly at me, slightly in front, slightly behind. . .depending on CD, really) to get decent detail, sound, imaging. As a result, I lost some depth. . . nevertheless, it sounded good. . .like a headphone effect.
As I said, this is a quick review--> now I can sit much farther back w/o losing detail, etc. . .I'm assuming this has to do w/ the treatments removing reflections. . . this was all noticeable immediately. . . I will try to give more detail later.
I was pretty surprised that this was something I noticed immediately. . .this is not a subtle tweak. NOW I just need a dedicated listening room (and a job
