I need a descent inexpensive pair of Headphones with noise cancellation to hook up to my ipod for travel. Any recommendations for a pair I can pick up at Fry's or BB?

A year or two ago I picked up a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7's from a member on this board. Although they are not cheap, they are great for what they do. I would recommend them if they fit your budget.

Another option would be to look for some IEM's(in ear monitors). You can find them much cheaper and they do a great job of blocking out outside sound. The only downside is that the fit is not for everyone. It seems like most of the major brands have a line, so you should have no problem finding a set at BB or Fry's.

Thanks Santacore for the recommendation. I prefer over the ear. Anyone else have any suggestions?

I don't know thatKlipsch Image X-5 IEMs qualify as inexpensive, but that's what I use, with a Cowan D2.. It's such a good combination that I'm also using this set-up in my office now.

Sorry, I haven't heard any NC cans that I considered to have decent sound quality.

Ultrasone has a new model, the Zino, that I heard at CanJam, for the dough and size, I thought they were really good.

IIRC, they are going to sell for $99.

EDIT--Oops, they are not NC, sorry.

Peace,
