Finally. After years of wanting to go, I have good tickets for the opening round of the Van Cliburn piano competition for Fri evening
. These are part B of the first round of eliminations. 5 pianist from all over the world for 2+ hours doing there best to become the next Horowitz. This is one of the premier piano competitions in the world and the talent level is just incredible.
Sorry, won't be able to post my impressions until I get back from fishing in the Canadian wilderness for the next two weeks, but will definitely do so upon my return. Boy, life is good.
