Has anyone actually compaired the sound quality of the original cloth covered lead Dyna output transformers to the new production units from Dynakit Parts or Triode Electronics?

Although they can measure slightly differently with high frequency square wave performance, and this varies between sample to sample, not just between batch to batch or vendor to vendor, with the Ultimate 70 circuit set installed, I hear no obvious musical differences.

We see variations in a bit of very high frequency ringing (leading edge overshoot of HF square waves) from sample to sample, far outside the audio range.
