John, it looks like you have them pretty close to the back wall or is that an optical illusion?

They are about 19" from the back wall.  I might be able to pull them out even more, but from the very brief period that I checked with them about 2 feet out, it didn't do a whole lot.  I think I'd have to pull them out even more, but my room is not THAT big.

19'x15' with vaulted ceilings and only a countertop to separate the kitchen.  I'm sitting 3' away from the back wall and I am about 12'-13' from the speakers as is.  I don't want to push them much closer than that.
