The NS-8 represents an incredible performance per dollar ratio in the Single Ended market. The Deluxe Edition NS-8 we have up for sale is the definition of flexibility. She's integrated, has variable negative feedback AND tunable biasing! The 6550's are a nice touch as well.

How about a super upgrade? We can install 25 watt single ended outputs for $500.00!

Sure. The 25 watt output transformers are made by Edcor. I should mention that Hammond has some monster 35 watt single ended outputs that I can use in substitute. The price is the same for both types.

The Edcor weighs about 12lbs and the Hammond is around 15lbs. I like them both.

I forgot to mention something: With the upgraded output  transformer option, we'll throw in a hefty filter choke. The amp will easily compete against ones costing $2,500 and up.  With that in mind, you're saving at least $1,000 relative to an amp of the same caliber.

Total weight with all upgrades: 45lbs! Remember, you get to choose either Edor or Hammond Outputs. If you would like a third option, I can install 15 watt One Electron outputs, I have used these as well and their quality is outrageously good. Upgrade price remains the same for the One Electron outputs.

Here's another couple of upgrades that can be installed:

1. 1/4 inch and/or 1/8 inch headphone outputs.

2. 1/4 inch and/or 1/8 inch inputs

This can be made into a very friendly Ipod and headphone amplifier.
