Happy New Year!  Yes, we are publicizing the show now. It's Sunday, March 29, 2009.

Here's a link for anyone interested either in attending or to be a vendor. People really come to buy.

Hey, the Vintage Voltage Expo is in 8 days. There is an article in this Sunday's (Mar 22) Denver Post. Yours truly was interviewed, so I hope they don't make me sound goofy in whatever parts they use. A photog even took pictures of my humble system. We expect record attendance (no pun intended, vinyl users) after this article is seen by the public.  Vendor tables almost sold out.

Mike G, if you are going to be at the CAS thing at Heirloom Audio tonight (Sat) I will bring your tubes.

Pete I

(I think I need better, pure copper cables (only 3 ') for my newly-acquired Merlin TSM speakers.)

Nice write up - almost a full page (5B) with a nice tease in the front page banner of Section B "Denver & the West". I'm looking forward to this.

Definitely more people than ever this year. The is the first time I haven't spent any money, not that I didn't see a few things I would have liked. A really nice, freshly calibrated Hickcok tube tester but it was about 3x my budget for the day. Perhaps next year. I hope they can get a bit more space, it was tough to even move around today and of course that was after spending 10 minutes trying to park.

We paid the $10 and got there right at 9am. Parked right in front of the door, walked in and buried our heads in the vinyl binds. It become noticeably more crowded at 10am and we left about 10:30. By that time the place was packed inside and parking lot was a zoo as well.

I got there around 10:20. It was very crowed then and became even more so.

I saw a few things I would have wanted to take a better look at, but there was too little room to really look at anything without getting bumped or jostled.

I am very pleased for the promoters that the show is getting more traffic.

I do hope they do move to a facility that will allow more room for the people attending to move about.

I did not buy anything, as it was simply too crowded to really examine any of the wares on display.

I left before 11:00AM

Yes, big attendance at the show. Show promotion was certainly successful. Last year there were about 800 people. This year 1000 attendees were anticipated, but closer to 1300 came. It settled down considerably before 12, but still lots of great gear and deals to be made.  Vendors were satisfied. There was definitely something for everyone, all ranges.
