I have posted in the Slimdevices forums about this, but find this community more responsive and knowledgeable!

I am trying to use my SB3 as a wireless bridge.  I have a dedicated PC wired to my SB3.  It is headless.  I want to use the SB3 to "connect" the PC to my wifi network.

Ultimately, I envision being able to use a networked laptop, to remotely connect with the headless PC via the SB3 over wifi.

My challenge is with IP addresses, and getting the SB3 to "see" my wired server, when going through the wireless setup config.

Thoughts?

Ahem, never mind.

The correct IP in this case, is the one that the router assigned.

Just took a few tries.

I can now remote connect to the PC in the basement.

Now to get it to recognize the 500G drive attached, and update Squeezecenter that this is where the music lives!
