burn-in generator

Jim, can a burn-in generator be made to breakin a single or group of capacitors? I would think this would be a hot item.

Yes, you can string the caps in series.  Maybe, however it is better to break in a cap with dc voltage on it.  For that, couple the output of a FRYKLEANER via a 100uF or so coupling cap over to the dc biased cap (use series 10k or 100k for dc bias).

I had one or two customers do this a long time ago with good results.  The FRYKLEANER also comes in handy for doing entire spools of wire.  Just keep in mind that cable making adds new twists to the equation, and you'll likely need some more burn.
