I saw this movie last night and it was a great movie. Low-budget ($120K) but extremely well done and the topic was well presented. It was about an Orthodox Jewish girl and a Muslim girl. Both are teachers at a school and become friends.
The movie is about their friendship and their common experience of having arranged marriages. It shows their cultural, ethnic and highly traditional life-styles in a very unbiased way that doesn't minimize them. It is about their choices to live within their religious and traditional cultural heritage within the context of a secular society. It does a great job of showing the issues from the vantage point of the ladies without staining the movie with an overriding agenda, an accomplishment I wish more popular film makers could emulate.
Worth renting if you get the chance.
