I'm shocked that a digital cable has this much effect.  I don't usually do too much auditioning of cables (too much bother for ever elusive synergy thingee), but I did with digital cables. Hey, less to pull in and out, ya' know?

I bought from a very encouraging dealer (AudioWaves - Alan Grau is real decent guy) that sent me a bunch to try out.  Harmonic Tech (2 types copper and silver 'Truth' cables), Monster Cable, Kimber D-60 and some cheapo HAVE ones.  Because I have the rest in my system done up in 'early LAT International' I bought that, too.

The difference was slight between all 6.  It came down to the Kimber and LAT.  The LAT had a bit more 'warmth' and, maybe because it was shielded, quieter.  But, the differences were much smaller than on analog cables by and large.  I ended up buying both the LAT and Kimber (just in case I was wrong), but later sold the Kimber D-60.

The Onix must be some hellaciously good cable to be that dramatically better than the rest.  Enjoy all.  :D

I’ll post a review after it fully breaks in however my NEW reference digital cable is the Ridge Street Audio LuminEssence. I received it today from Robert and listened to it on my tube system using three CD’s that I know like the back of my hand. I don’t usually say this but: “it beat the living s**t out of every digital cable I own and have ever heard. Made a huge difference and my system sounded like it cost about another $20,000. I kid you not! This is some very serious stuff.

Come on guys, let's keep this off topic stuff out of this thread. :nono: I am interested in the Ridge Street cables as well, but start your own thread. And Lak, the Trading Post is there for a reason....and you should keep your pricing consistent, as you're asking for less there.
