It's with a heavy heart that I list my newly acquired Watt Puppy 5.1's. When properly set-up, these speakers are capable of phenomenal performance! I am listing only because I need the cash more than I do toys. Although the model 5.1's are technically an older variant of the Watt Puppy, these particular speakers have recently been given the royale treatment by Wilson Audio. The updates include:
- Watt Puppy 8 drivers (less than 50 hours on em.. so they still need broken in!)
- Refreshed Crossover (with brand new resistors)
- Re-buffed finish.. the "watt" is still sealed in plastic wrap
- New grills (normally costs $800 for the grills alone)
- upgraded Transparent puppy-tail
- Refreshed manual
- All the original crates
- New toolkit
- All new 'foam' material along the front baffle
Dave Wilson himself listened to these speakers and gave em the thumbs up before sending em' off to my abode. This is about as new as it gets for a set of Watt Puppy's.
The original, non-updated (no WP8 drivers) 5.1's retailed for $18,300. I will be offering these at just $6000.00. Due to shipping weight (440lbs, total), local pick-up is preferred, but I will be willing to ship as well. I live in southern VA. This offer is
