It is a open weave polyester that is pretty smooth.

It would look cool, but keep in mind that when they are wrapped it cuts off about 5" all the way around the image. So for that one I would be worried that to much of the guitar would be wrapped on the sides. I could though look into what the art charge would be to work with the photo to make it fit better.
