The Current State of KAB

Can anyone tell me if KAB is OK?

I placed an order commitment for a modified Technics Turntable earlier this week. I thought that I would get some sort of acknowledgment email but I did not. So the next day (earlier this week,) I tried to call them and got a message recording during normal business hours. I left a message for them to call me back as instructed.

I did not receive a return call so the following day I sent them an email referencing the order number and simply asking for acknowledgment. So far I have not received any response.

Is everything alright there? I noticed that some people in the forum are in the area.

I sincerely hope that they are not a casualty of the current economic situation.

I spoke w/ Kevin last weekend.  I'll call him tomorrow AM and check on him.

Wonderful news! Kevin is alive and well and working on my turntable.

I'm not certain what caused the disconnect but I was finally able to reach Kevin and had a wonderful conversation for nearly an hour. Now I just have to patiently wait for my KAB modified Technics.

I just spoke with Kevin and he is apparently swamped.  Kevin is a one man operation and from time to time the volume becomes a bit heavy.

Pretty much echoes my emotions dealing with them. At first I was worried about an internet order, next confused over the voice mail, then pleasantly surprised when I got Kevin on the phone. Super nice guy and really knows his stuff.
