They are a 9/10 from every angle, except the original owner's ring put a very small scratch while he was packing. See the picture above. The speaker curves in backwards where the scratch is. This hides the scratch from plain view if the speakers are facing straight. If you toe the speaker in as suggessted, there is no chance of seeing the scratch. Listing is 7/10 for this reason but the speaker is perfect in every way.
I bought a set of beautiful fluted walnut stands from Core Audio Designs for $499. This is the Model E stands with granite bases which I will include them with the speakers. They go together perfectly and are a visual treat to anyone who lays eyes on the setup.
Speakers list for $2795; the stands list for $499. This is a good deal for
$2100 shipped in CONUSA.
My main setup is a single driver crossover less design which I'm very happy to drive with tube amps. The Ushers really need some power to open up, so feed them some power and you will really see the returns.
I had them bi-amped with Monarchy Audio SE-100 Delux monoblocks which really made them sing. See my other ad in the amplifier section.
I'm sure these amazing speakers will find a good home to go to.
