I found Maggies about five years ago when I decided to purchase some MMGs direct from the company. I fell in love and later added a pair of MMG-Ws in back. The room wasn't ideal, and I had no center speaker, but I loved that set-up for both music and HT. I came back to Maggies in 2008 when I made the leap into some 3.6s. I picked up a center after that, and I ran just a front stage only until today. Last week I placed an order for MMG-Ws again (sold the original pair back d/t a move) and got them placed up on the wall a few hours ago.

I cannot BELIEVE how amazing things sound. I tossed in The Last Airbender, even though I wasn't really looking forward to seeing the film. I had read that the audio was excellent, and I found that to be entirely true. One of the earliest scenes in the film has a kid cracking open an iced over body of water, and holy WOW did that sound amazing! Things were already sounding good, but now I know the TRUE power of five channels of Maggie Magic!

I've never believed in spending a lot of money on surrounds, so to have on-walls in back that fold out of the way when not in use, that blend sufficiently well with my front stage, for only $300?? This makes me love Magnepan all the more :)

I did leave Wendell a bit of a nasty message though....what's the deal with not including four damn wood screws in the package?? They have the dry wall bolts, but they can't put four frickin screws in there, too??  It's not easy finding somewhere to buy a handful of 1.5" #6 wood screws on Thanksgiving Day!

But anyway, Maggies rule  :thumb:

We could use a Planar Home Theater sticky.
Would you care to do the honors and kick this off?
I have to make up a room myself and could use some ideas on how to proceed.  I'll have to get my beloved MMGs going again.
