Bryston BP20
« on: 21 Feb 2009, 05:25 pm »
I am intending to buy a used BP20 manufactured in june 2002. It is coming with bp-psr Rev 1.2 power supply. I have following two questions:-
1. Somewhere I had read that from 2002 , power supply given was mps-1, how come then this unit is with psr?

2. As per general assessment how far a BP20 can take me close to present BP26?

James may also please respond along with others.

Hi,

1. I am not sure on why the BP20 would have the older power supply. I assume the customer purchased the unit around the time he made the purchase.

2. The BP-20 with an MPS-2 Power supply would come close in performance to the BP26.
