I have a Puresonics power amp (90watt 45+45) and tech manual from the 60's. No it is not for sale.  It needs at least one new output transformer. I am hoping to rebuild it in the next few years when I retire. There were so few made I never ran across anyone who heard of or had one. Look foward to chatting with folks as to where to get parts like the output transformer and large capacitors. Talk to you soon. Dave.

P.S. It was awsome in its day.

Maybe we can connect here with more owners. I think they are still awesome. The input and output tubes auto bias, a feature found only on high end equipment these days. Thanks for your input, Dave.                               hotroady

I have the 402c power amp only. The same one as show belonging to Dizzie G. on ebay below.

THE REPLACEMENT CAPACITORS NEXT TO THE KT77'S IN THE PHOTO INTEREST ME. THE ONLY DRAWBACK TO THE CAPS IN THE PHOTO IS I BELIEVE THEY ARE TOO LONG TO CLOSE THE MISSING COVER. I CAN LIVE WITH THAT TO MAKE THE UNIT WORK. THE ORIGINALS ALSO HAD A PLUG IN DESIGN LIKE A TUBE.

THE ATTACHED PHOTOS FROM THAT SITE ABOVE WILL SUFFICE.

let me know the method to attach photos.

THANKS FOR RESPONDING. DAVE!

Dave, I posted a pic of the caps on the prior page. The 402C should be rated the same 40w per channel as the 410C. I would interested in a copy of any manuals you have. Info is extemely hard to come by, as you know. Here's another shot of power supply.                                                  Note the two GZ 34's for rectification.

THE CAPS IN YOUR PHOTO ARE THE ORGINAL SHORTER ONES THAT PLUG IN. DOUBTFUL THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE NEW. YES SOMEWHERE I HAVE THE TECH MANUAL FOR THE 402C AND WOULD BE GLAD TO SEND YOU A COPY WHEN I FIND IT. RIGHT NOW I AM UP TO MY EYEBALLS IN MESSES THAT NEEDS CLEANING UP. WHEN I COME ACROSS IT I WILL LET YOU KNOW. IT IS THE SAME ONE SHOWN IN THE
D. GILLESPIE AMP ARTICLE. DAVE

Actually, the pic on the prior page show the original taller 40 MFD caps, the pic on this page shows the shorter 20 MFD caps that I had replaced them with. I couldn't find the longer ones, at the time. I feared I might lose a little bass with the shorter caps, but the amp is very strong on bass, better than any tube amp I've heard. It's possible that the amp is a little quieter with the shorter caps. With a 96db signal to noise ratio, stock, the amp is dead quiet.                                                                                        If my output transformers were to go out, I have a set of Sansui 1000A transformers that might work. I'll try to find that pic.

Great Dave! The Gilispie pics show the taller 40 MFD caps in place. I'm sure you have the same circuits in the amp you have. Midrange really opened up when I put the Model 112 pre amp in circuit. The Quadramatic amp is one of the all time great EL34 amps ever made. Heathkit WM5 Peerless output transformers, may work as replacements, also. I'm sure of there quality, but not absolutely sure of compatability. Good luck on your venture.
