Dan, what did you think of the fest?  Good turnout in your rooms?  Did things sound like you had hoped?

Dan,

Congratulations.  As have many of the members here, I have been reading the AC reviews and opinions.  Though there are some stark differences of opinion on equipment, there was a very positive and consistent thumbs up for your equipment contributions.

The ModWright/Daedalus room was one of my favorites. It was great to finally meet Dan Wright.  He liked the acoustic Alanis Morrisette cd I played.   Here's my comment in the AC member RM impression thread: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=86946.msg850568#msg850568

It's towards the bottom of the page.

Hello Dan,
It was nice to finally meet in person. Sorry it too mme so long to get over to the room to sit down or a listen. I made several comments about how good I found the speakers sounded. Bravo! Hope the show did well for you.

Thanks guys, the show was great and I enjoyed meeting many of you there!

There was excellent attendance and I felt that our gear was well received in all eight rooms.

We were proud to be using Daedalus speakers and Soundstring Cables in our room, to produce excellent sound!

I appreciate all those who took photos of our room and shared their opinions.

Sincerely,

Dan

Dan - your gear sounded downright amazing at RMAF!  Your new LS100 preamp is on my short list (at the very top, as a matter of fact).  I (we) really appreciate you allowing so many manufacturers to use your gear.  Not only does it sound great, but it looks darn good too!

I just wanted to mention that I spent a bit of time in the Daedalus room on Friday, and it didn't sound very good.  But Saturday everything changed, when Dan's gear was installed.  The difference in sound was not subtle, as the dull, boring sound I experienced Friday was replaced by a beautiful musical onslaught.  That particular room went from one of the dullest to one of the best, at least to my ears.  I think that says a lot about Modwright gear, and I highly recommend anyone who hasn't heard it to get out there and take a listen; you won't regret it.

Thanks, Lou had some gear difficulties on Friday and it was complicated.  Things got worked out on Saturday and I was very pleased to be able to provide another KWA 150 to complete the system.

Lou's speakers are fabulous and his associated source gear and cabling were also exceptional.

We are discussing a collaborative room at the show in Longbeach in June!  I am ALWAYS pleased to show with Lou's fantastic speakers.  There is a special synergy between our amps and his speakers!
