The bass response of the maggie panel is fairly directional (being a dipole) standing next to the panel (or between them) you'll notice a reduction in bass. This is the perfect area to place a turntable (a bass null point) and a waste if you have bass trapping there. However after the wave launch leaves the panel and hits the front and back walls of the room it's free to bounce around and might benefit from those traps placed at the corners. I don't have those "pillow" traps to experiment with, but I have noticed a difference when placing traps at the front and back walls of my room.
