I was 31 when I bought my first Bryston.

I'm now 32.  Hopefully it won't take me 31 years to get my next Bryston.  I think the BDA-1 will be outdated a bit by that time.  Then again, it is a Bryston.

At least Bryston were around when you started, I picked up my first Bryston in the 80's, so I was a bit older than you when I latched on.

I bought the amp!! Holy sh*t !! What a difference from what I'm used to. I don't have a $10000 pair of speakers but you can hear the improvement. I've had the same speaker setup for 8 years now. Just when you feel like upgrading the money seems to go towards the house, car, etc. In the fall I did upgrade my receiver to a Pioneer Elite SC-07 and Panasonic plasma. My speaker setup is all Mirage...OM-7, OM-C2, Om-R2, 2xBPS-400, LFX2 crossover and 2x NAD C272. I would love to hear a pair of PMC's but there is no local dealer...actually the local Bryston dealer is a 2 1/2 hour drive! Anyway no regrets as my sound has improved.... next purchase will be mains....

Ive always really like the mirage om-7. They are very good, i almost bought a pair... they gotta big ballsy sound.
