Excellent review as always, James!  Just curious: it appears that the 28s are the only model in the Bryston amplifier line-up that do not use wire in the signal path (or just a very small amount, note the differences in the interior pictures from the Positive Feedback 28 sst2 review to the Enjoythemusic 7 sst2 review from last month).  What are the benefits of this practice?  Should it in any way influence the decision to purchase the 28 over another Bryston amplifier (in an imaginary world where cost wasn't the deciding factor! ;-)

Thanks in advance for your reply, Bryston fans warmly appreciate your active participation in this forum!

Hi C-note,

The wiring in the other amplifiers are just to provide connection of the power supply tansformer to the circuitry.  I believe the power supply wires are underneath the large transformer and capacitor board in the 28B and therefore are not visible. I will check and let you know.
