For sale is a pair of satin black x-ls classic speakers. These are original China production from av123 with snowman grilles. I am the third owner, I believe. Speakers are in excellent shape. Original owner had speakers modded to include Sonicaps w/ bypass, Mills resistors, and NoRez. These parts came from Danny Richie/GR Research. The x-ls classics listed for $219; parts for upgrades (unassembled) were $160+. They sound great, and I really hate to part with them, but they are in a box right now and I really don't have much hope of using them.
I'm offering the speakers for $230 + shipping from 17042. PayPal preferred; no additional charge. I will also consider trades, for smaller speaker ideally. Very interested in something with a full range driver.

Please note, tweeter upgrades are now available for this speaker to take it to "encore" status. Sean at skiingninja.com has advised me that "encore elite" upgrade would be required for these speakers, at $215.
