Will the interface work with any passive subs or only SVS?  I have a pair of sealed subs which I'm currently driving with externally placed plate amps and would like to upgrade/replace...Basically I
m wanting to know if the Samson + interface will give me the flexibility to drive both subs effectively...

Yes, this interface should work with other subs.  My understanding is that it was built for SVS by Marchand and sold for $159.  See comments at link on the possible use of the interface with the Samson S1000.  This is a well-regarded combination.  http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/29058.aspx

I have had several prospective buyers express interest in the sub interface box.  I am going to give preference to a buyer that wants this interface as part of a package with the SVS CS+ subs and Samson S1000 amp.  This is a great combination and I would prefer to sell these together.
