hi
last year i bought one  box of  nos tube and I found 200 ,  5u4 rectifiers inside.
On tube we can see cvc brand   ,I don’t know  a but this kind of tubes .cvc? quality ?

I think that is Chelmer Valve Company,

They are still around and they seem to rebrand tubes.

Now you have a new mystery...what was it originally?

Yes the cvc has rebrand this tube 30 years before. I  send Emil and someone in cvc office said yes this is our rebrand tube but the  original factory is china made  ! maybe some one  has experience whit cvc rectifier  or   has information  of   original  factory  .
