Here's something I just learned about - maybe I'm out of the loop - from Michael Lavorgna of 6moons.

The Buddha Machine!

Version 2, just out, has the refinement of pitch control. It is a little device that has 9 musical loops designed by a prominent Chinese new music composer.

It's in a cheap plastic box like an old fashioned transistor radio with a small speaker, running on two AAs.

the page that comes up has sound samples.

here's some back story: http://tinyurl.com/63n94e

I ordered two.

I love that people are building products to support the Buddha.  Like, you can apparently fix 21 of them into a single wall unit and have them all playing at the one time.  Brilliant!
