Pearl Jam is re-releasing the album 10 along with the Mtv unplugged concert dvd and other stuff. :thumb:

Excellent news.  One on my top favorite albums of the 90's.  I hope they do an audiophile job remastering it and not compress it to death.

It's one of my favorites too, Although I think I'm more jazzed about the MTV Unplugged DVD.  aa That was in my mind the best unplugged concert. I've been hoping for years that they would release it. Hopefully they show the entire concert and not just the 30 minute version on tv.

I actually think the best unplugged ever was The Allman Brothers. Allen Woody playing double neck acoustic bass was insane. I really wish that would be released.

Yeah, there are a lot of good ones, 10,000 Maniacs also comes to mind. I think when I say best it includes how charged the scene was at the time. Pearl Jam was smack in the midst of touring for 10 and were in serious playing shape(they still are :wink:). After their unplugged they just exploded into the release of their second album and beyond. Of course, I was at a very impressionable age at the time. :hyper:
