Except that I might have sent you astray......call KAB/Kevin directly and ask, but he may well take non-KAB units in to upgrade.
I thought he told me he did not, but a very exacting AC member
here assures me I'm incorrect on this and had his unit sent to him from elsewhere (not sure if his conversion took place after my calls to Kevin 4 months ago or it it even matters)
So - give the man a buzz....he's as easy to talk to as your fave neighbor and a LOT easier than the busty 25yo blonde down the street
