  • Audio - It's all a big fake.
I still miss my Odyssey DM, one of the few pieces of gear I regret selling.  Klaus makes very good, very musical solid state equipment.

It is a sign of great gear when people regret selling it. A few seasons back I bought a Khartago for my office system - the one I listen to more or less all day long. Then I got the bug for something bigger, better, different. Loaned my Khartago to a relative pending putting it up for sale. I'm not unhappy with the upgrade (they aren't Odysseys) - I love my new amps so much I rotated them into my "big rig" downstairs where they are magnificent. But this left a void in my office system that an ancient Denon receiver wasn't filling. What to do on limited funds? The above mentioned relative heard and was deeply impressed by my big rig mono blocks. So much so that he bought his own pair. The Khartago sat in my garage for weeks while I pondered my next office amp. Then the bulb finally lit (duh) and the Khartago was rotated back to its original home. Wow! How could I have forgotten what a great sounding amp this is? It's been like rediscovering an old girlfriend and both of you are now single. So I'm one of the lucky ones. I reclaimed my old Khartago and my search has ended (once more). Thanks to Klaus, you can go home again!

Man,, you must have some serious high end gear,, khartago sitting in a closet,,I wish that I had that kind of issue/problem  aa,, seriously,, it is funny how we "forget" how good something sounds/sounded on our "journey".I had a similar experience with a Belles/Audible Illusions combo, that I regret selling to this very day.
