I just voted for the 60's as that was when I first got interested in music especially garage rock.  However I think the most exciting time in music for me was the late 70's.  The Ramones,Clash, Sex Pistols,Nick Lowe,Elvis Costello are just a few of artists that got me into music again after a pretty boring decade.
