To answer a frequent email questions we've been getting:

We MAY be able to deliver this package to you in time for Christmas. Realistically, orders placed this week can probably be built and shipped in time. It depends on the overall volume of orders, also depends how far the shipment has to go.  My suggestion is to place your order ASAP and in the comments section, just ask to be kept up to speed on ship date.

Here's another thing we can do:  We can make a certificate showing what you've purchased, with the appropriate holiday "feel" that you can put in an envelope or box to open. IF anyone wants this, just email or PM me.

I've got this setup for my HT though mine is cherry. It does a super job. I wouln'd suggest for a really big room or really loud spl. But for someone who wants quality sound and not necessarily ear damage, I don't think you can generally get something this fine anywhere near this price.

The elves are complaining about too much to do. This was originally scheduled for 12 days which would take it to Saturday the 20th. We're going to need to pull it before that. This incredible offer is good only until this Friday, the 19th.

DR, my hearing is great. An I personally love what the Emeralds can do>>>> quality! But I stand by what I said, they are not going to blow you out of your chair in a big room.  I'm talking reference level in a big room, and no, I don't abuse my ears that way.  To put it in perspective, if you want this quality of sound, and that kind of output, it probably starts at around $10K

Griller,

I was just giving you a hard time. I admit I have never tried the Emeralds in a "large" room. I did however have a room 27 (about) feet long and 15 to 18 wide (L shaped) and used BW 801 Nautilus mains and a Titan. Volume at ear bleed levels. Also, I had a pair of Vandersteen 2CE's that also easily filled the room with clear volume and pressurized the room for impact. So I will take issue with the $10,000.

Oh I forgot, this thread is about 5 Emeralds and a Force. Pretty potent.

How big of a room are you talking about?

Nice to hear from you!

I kinda figured that DR :)  I dont' claim to have the ultimate audiophile ears, but I can hear when i move one speaker less than an inch. But once in a while I poke into places like AVS forum and there are people who think you need a half dozen 15" subs or such in a 2000 cu ft space to be happy! They also run things like big Klipsch, all sorts of horns and other assorted nasties to my ears etc, etc.  So yes, this is what I was talking about . These testosterone fueled HT freaks will not be satisifed with the Emerald XL setup with the 4" woofers and the Force with it's 10". For those who know what music sounds like and value their hearing it is a very different story.

Griller,

Got it.

Speaking of my Force XL, when I added my Onkyo for HT (the receiver controls the volume and crossover) I put in a disc that has the THX sound intro. Also keep in mind I added a 6db attenuator to the Force. When that THX thing played I almost soiled my undies. Being in a Condo I had to make a mad dash for the volume.

I think the DVD's are bass hot for those even without the 4 15" woofers!

Anyway nice to hear from you again and congratulations to anyone who took Mike up on his offer.
