Run and get them! Er, mouse over to the Amazon link and order them! I just got mine today and at about $50 they are maybe, just maybe, as good as the $200 plus Etymotic ER-4's! (I say maybe because I gave the Etymotics to my daughter and cannot compare them directly because she lives across the country. Just memory which, alas, is fallible... )

I am currently enjoying listening to music (Apple Lossless) on my iPhone. Have not made a call using the mic, a tiny thing on the chord...

These are first impressions, after only one song! Of course, proper fit is imperative for proper fidelity (specially bass notes), and Nuforce provides 3 or 4 different sizes of ear tips. The bass is amazing, but so is the sweet midrange and the very extended and detailed highs (yet not strident).

You might even be able to get them for less than $50! (I did.)

I've had mine for months. They are better than any other iPhone buds I've owned, but not as good as my trusty old Sony EX71's. But then again I've yet to encounter buds that can beat those. Since Sony doesn't offer a model with mic, I'd say the NE-7M is probably the best price/performance choice for iPhone buds.

I like them, don't get me wrong. Not quite as much as you I guess, though.

There aren't any internal differences between these new one's and the original batch, right?

Yes, we know, NE-7M is as good as those $150 earphones out there.

The NE7M from the 1st production are identical to the current production.  We improved the production assembly method to give better consistency and reduce sample-to-sample variance, and change the color to the 'antique copper' tone, reminiscent of our Nuforce SE shade...

Please note that NE7M would sound better after 'breaking-in', we find that after 30-70 hours of use, the bass will open up and the treble gets more airy.

Make sure to check the various ear-tip sizes to get a perfect seal.  When a good seal is achieved, the ambient noise is surpressed.

P.S.  I am surprised nobody noticed our earphone cables are very soft and pliable, unlike S****, E*******, and U*, their wires are as stiff as drinking straws....
