The low end is very tight, even though the speakers don't reproduce much bass below 80hz.  While the little Spendor S3/5 speakers didn't seem to have any bass before, since installing the bass traps, the bass that they produce seems accurate.  The imaging is stable.  Vocals and instruments' locations are defined and don't wander. Additionally, vocals at high volumes don't "crackle" as they did prior to the room treatments.  Everything is "quieter," and I tend to turn the volume up higher, yet the music is less "noisy,"  and I can really appreciate the dynamic range. Prior to installing the room treatments, I couldn't turn the volume on my Insight preamp past nine o'clock.  Now, I can comfortably listen to music with the volume turned higher.  (Music at low volumes also sounds better.)

The room treatments, and my Insight DAC, are two of the best audio investments that I have made.  I had a great experience with Sal @ acoustimac, from whom I purchased the bass traps and acoustic panels.

I am looking forward to receiving the Salk SongTower RT that I have on order, although I wouldn't be unhappy listening to the Spendor.  When I ordered new speakers, before installing the room treatments, I think that my search for better sound was somewhat misguided in that I thought that the speakers were the problem, when the problem was the room acoustics.  However, I know that the SongTower RT will be an extraordinary improvement.

Here is an interesting method that I intend to try when my Salk V3s arrive. it involves using a midrange oriented mono CD, such as Nat King Cole, to perform a rather unorthodox method for best speaker placement. Here is the link:
