SA2's for California

The next generation...

This replaces the SA1 which received a great review in Positive Feedback and helped put us on the map. The woofer is the Seas ER18RNX with their reed cone technology. More dynamic capability with good bass extension while retaining the open mids and highs that made the SA1 a great value.

It's been a while since I've had the SA'2s now.  And I'm not going to write a long review but I will say that this speaker sounds rediculously good for the price.

Great highs (fountek ribbon), good low frequency extension for a small monitor & midrange that almost rival's the scanspeak revelator (I also own Selah Galena's).

This would be a good speaker for those who are a little short on $ & are looking for a reference monitor like the SSR.

Regards

Sounds like a winner

Did you purchase them as a kit, and how much did they cost?

I purchased them pre-built from Rick.  The pair that I bought were b-stock because of some cabinet damage.  So I dont know what Rick charges for a non-damaged pair.

Feel free to send me a PM or email and I'll provide a quote for the kit.

The kit is $500 / pair and assembled speakers (cherry, maple, black ash) are $1,195 / pair. Both prices include shipping to the USA mainland.
