Athena is gone, meaning no more AS-R1 bipole surround, which had a wholesale price around $200/pr IIRC. Nothing left at DBL, AudioAdvisor, Ebay, Audiogon.
Please suggest alternative, same architecure: bipole not dipole, two tweeters, each tweeter on angled baffle flanking one forward-firing 5-1/4" to 6.5" midbass. Please suggest only speakers you've heard & like; the Athena's were very musical & smooth & wanting only the same.
