First of all, hi everyone. I've been a member for a while, don't think I've posted yet...I'm on a lot of other audio forums too.

I'm getting 4 of these drivers for an IB installation. I'll only be in this house for 8 months, so I'm thinking ahead for what to do with the drivers afterwards. I'll be moving to an apartment so another IB is out of the question.

Has anyone designed an OB project with these?

I have 3 identical MTMs I built (designed by cjd, RS150x2 and Seas H1212) for my LCR speakers. I would like to build some midbass modules to dig a bit deeper before the sub takes over and to clean up my midrange a bit. I was hoping to cover 80 to 300 hz, give or take.

I read around a bit, I think I can do this with a 40" equivalent baffle width if I place these on the floor (so height will not matter too much). So a 20" baffle and 10" wings should suffice, right? I am hoping to design them as speaker stands for my mains and center.

I would be crossing them all active .Receiver will take care of highpass for the DPL 15 and I will have something to inline to lowpass the DPL 15 and highpass the MTM. Most likely a pro speaker management device. Then they would be powered off of some pro amps (Crown XLS202D most likely, as that is what's powering my mains and center. I have one channel left, and another identical amp would be perfect)

If I draw up a build plan could I get some advice on what would and would not work? I'm very proficient with Solidworks.

Thanks in advance!

I have something in mind if you draw it up I'll build it and measure it for you.    It would be a folded H-baffle so that we could do a narrower footprint and it will go a lot deeper than 80Hz.

Great! I'm in. So you give me the general dimensions or a rough sketch and I draw it up? I already modeled the driver, so I'm ready :)

I'm new to OB so I'll keep reading so I can catch up with the terms
